After looking at your picture I was compelled to look up tilt shift photography on the Web. I have to say your results are true to the genre. The view of the city lends itself to the application, colorful, compact apartments and shops, painted in bright colors. Because of the toy-like effect of your manipulation, the child in me wants to see a miniature train winding through the scene.

What could be better? I think a view from higher up would add to the desired effect. I assume you were shooting from the highest vantage point available so gaining more elevation may have been impossible. Additionally, I feel that if you could have included the people and cars in the field of focus the scene would have more impact. Nevertheless, your foray into the tilt shift theme is a success. And I may be repeating myself when I say to you, keep trying new things and pushing yourself with your photography. I enjoy watching your skills continue to evolve.
